Gardens in the towns and villages of the Southern Highlands are typically larger than those in cities, and its four distinct seasons, have inspired owners to create beautiful and diverse gardens. Layouts include trees, formal beds and informal plantings of flowers and shrubs. Many include vegetable gardens.

The Southern Highlands is renowned for its deciduous trees which provide welcome shade in summer, and a dazzling display of colour in autumn.

Our members open their gardens to other members of the Society during Spring, Summer and Autumn. Each owner freely shares their experiences in establishing and maintaining their garden.
