Floral Art is the art of using plant materials and flowers to create an eye-catching and balanced composition or display. The Highlands Garden Society Bowral has included Floral Art in our activities for many years.

Members are able to apply their skills in Floral Art to prepare and display their floral arrangements at each Members Meeting. Each Members Meeting has a different Floral Art theme.

Floral Art Workshops
Workshops are offered to encourage the development of Floral Art and Design. Members of Highlands Garden Society Bowral, residents of Annesley Retirement Village and members of the Southern Highlands community may attend. Workshops are held on the third Wednesday of each month at Annesley,10 Westwood Drive, Bowral, They commence at 9:30 am, finish at 12 noon and have a limit of 20 participants. Members of the Society present Floral Art displays at the Annual Highlands Spring Flower and Camellia Show, the Annual Rose Show and have successfully competed in the events run by the Australian Floral Art Association.
