Annual Highlands Spring Flower and Camellia Show
Each September the Society holds our Highlands Spring Flower and Camellia Show. Members of the Society and members of the public are encouraged to participate by showing their blooms or displaying their floral arrangements.
Professional judges are invited to judge the exhibits and prizes are awarded. The public is invited to view the blooms and floral arrangements.
The next Highlands Spring Flower and Camellia show will be held in late August 2022.
Annual Rose Show
Held each November, the annual Rose Show gives both members of the Society and members of the public the opportunity to display their rose blooms and floral art arrangements. The Southern Highlands has the ideal climate for spectacular blooms.
Professional judges are invited to judge the exhibits and prizes are awarded. The public is invited to view the blooms and floral arrangements.
The next Annual Rose Show is on Friday 19th November 2021.
Biennial Winter Seminar
Held every second year, the Winter Seminar draws on the expertise of respected and inspiring speakers. The 2018 Winter Seminar featured Costa Georgiadis, host of ABC TV’s Gardening Australia, well- known for his enthusiastic and innovative restoration of urban landscapes. Recent speakers include Michael Bligh, well known Architect & Garden Designer and Roger Mann, author of “Naming that Rose”. Winter Seminars are open to both members of
the Society and the public.
Summer Garden Evening
The Summer Garden Evening is an event for members of the Society. It is held on the third Saturday of February typically at the home of one of our members and is a wonderful opportunity to welcome in the new garden year and to meet new members.
