A group of some 80 volunteers each year make the many activities of the Society possible.
They include supervisors and helpers to assist in the running of each meeting: the set-up of the hall, the front of house, plant stalls, library, supper table, library and the seed exchange.
Each friendship garden visit has members at the front gate and the Summer Garden Evening, Winter Seminar and Rose and Camellia Shows require a large number of helpers.
Volunteers for the various jobs are always welcome and new Committee members are essential for the continuation of a viable and lively Society.
Please approach any of the Committee members if you would like to assist. In the second half of each year volunteer rosters are circulated at our Friday night meetings for following year.
